What should we wear to our session?
Keep it simple and comfortable. Soft, neutral tones like cream, beige, sage, or dusty pink work beautifully and won’t distract from the emotion of the moment. Avoid bold logos or heavy patterns — we want the focus to be on you, not your clothes. If you'd like help, we can share our outfit guide when you book.
Do you provide props or outfits?
No big props or gimmicks — just honest, natural moments. For newborn and baby sessions, we have a selection of textured wraps, simple knits and neutral backdrops. You're welcome to bring any sentimental items, too.
How long will our session last?
Every session is gently paced and completely baby- or child-led.
- Newborn: around 2–3 hours to allow for feeds, cuddles and calm.
- Maternity, family & toddler: 1–1.5 hours
- Cake smash: approx. 1 hour including clean-up.
When is the best time to book a newborn session?
Ideally, book during your pregnancy. We’ll pencil in your due date and confirm once baby arrives. The best time to photograph newborns is within the first 5–21 days — when they’re still curled and sleepy.
What if my toddler doesn’t sit still?
That’s completely okay — and totally expected! We don’t aim for perfect poses. The magic is in the movement, the energy, the in-between moments. We’ll follow their lead and keep it fun, relaxed and pressure-free.
Can my partner or older children be included?
Absolutely. These sessions are about your whole story. Partners, siblings, and even pets are welcome (just let us know in advance).
What if we’re camera shy?
Most people are — you’re not alone. Our sessions are calm and friendly, with lots of space to just be yourselves. No forced smiles, no awkward posing — just real connection, gently captured.
What happens after the session?
You’ll receive a private online gallery within 2–3 weeks to view and download your edited images.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes. Our sessions make a beautiful and thoughtful gift for new parents, birthdays or baby showers.
